Adam Kitzes

Adam Kitzes (Editorial Board Member) received his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin (2003) and is an Associate Professor of English at the University of North Dakota, where he teaches a range of courses in early modern English literature and writing. In addition to his book, The Politics of Melancholy from Spenser to Milton, he has published articles and reviews on various writers and subjects, most recently Barnabe Rich's Protestant propaganda, Henrietta and Thomas Bowdler's Family Shakespeare, and Sr Thomas Percy's Reliques of Ancient Poetry. He currently writes about conspiracy culture in Elizabethan England and adaptations of Shakespeare in print.
